History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Burto was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When Burto reached his early adolescence his Halfling father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Dyer born in the past three hundred years. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has achieved small success as a Dyer.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: This exceptionally lanky man dresses well, wearing blue shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. His long brown hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His blue eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: Thervan wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Bard, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He has all his life been fascinated with dancing.

History: He was born in the east. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Thervan never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and obtaining odd cultural gnomish artifacts is his passion

Voice: Dark and ominous

Description: She tends to wear a green poncho over her likewise colored trousers and shirt, and carries swords. Her gold crest is greasy and uncared for. Her face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. She never wears the same outfit twice, unless she absolutely has to.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has never given up on her dancing dream.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things; and to end her boredom

Personality: She is extraordinarily eccentric. She is stubborn though. She always likes to keep a trick up her sleeve. She likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if she feels she even has a chance of losing.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: She is greedy; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help
