History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. During her travels, Verin and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Verin discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Verin fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. After a long history of fighting, Ella and her spouse have recently divorced.

She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside her partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
