History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: She is filled with cunning. She likes to feign weakness letting people think she is weak. She takes great joy in being the best Navigator in town.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Merchant who has hired her part-time. She cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Herbalist. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: She's in love; and her religion dominates her actions
