History: Katherine was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Aristocrat, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Aristocrat in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Adrik fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
