Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes brigands are coming to abduct people. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it.

Personality: Prone to second guessing herself, she comes off as nervous. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Painter.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality; and to be a doctor again

Description: An older woman who wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally she sports a blue coat, she is not a threatening figure. She wears a broad hat to hide her balding. Her eyes are a pleasant green.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She takes great joy in being the best Painter in town.

History: She was born in the south. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Painter work with an outfit from a few towns over. Painter work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: She is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her mother. Her childhood dream was to be a Merchant, but she was a colossal failure. She struck the Carpenter job and began her own company from there.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job; and further expansion of business

Description: This fat eastern man has a bulbous nose and wears dull tan sweaters, loose yellow pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed whip, just in case. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His silver hair is still thick. His eyes are blue and catlike.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and retire the richest man in the east
