History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to giants.

Description: He wears rags and sports a simple walking cane, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 4'5" when asserting himself. His black hair is matted, messy, and big. His violet eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His parents enrolled him in a Wizard school at a young age so that he could practice his martial talents. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Reirak fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: She is a mite stocky and wears a simple green robe with tan stripes complete with hood. Her crest, while still mostly white, has prominent grey streaks. She is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. Biri enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Her necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She was granted necromantic powers by her dying brother.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Description: Standing 5'6", this man does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His golden hair is knotted and matted. His amber eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Trym abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: This northern man is abnormally tall. He wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. He keeps his chestnut hair in a flapper bob. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Valafar is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Valafar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Valafar was born on a far northern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Stableman. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
