History: Roland was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Bookbinder responsibilities is difficult; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.
