History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: A middle-aged man, he tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look, and is pretty ugly. His hair, while still mostly chestnut, has prominent grey streaks. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: He got into the Apothecary business at a young age. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He became a Apothecary soon after.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He takes great joy in being the best Carter in town.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Aldous alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He became a Carter soon after.

Description: This exceptionally lanky man wears grey robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a ceremonial dagger, but if one is not available he will default to his quarterstaff. He has dyed his greying silver hair a little too much giving a sharp silver color. His eyes are blue and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. Harbek abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Her chestnut hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a top hat. Her hazel eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Verna is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was born in a small mountains village. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Courier work with an outfit from a few towns over. Courier work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Verna fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
