History: Lûga lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He tends to his Cartwright job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her poetry with anyone who is interested.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Jacoba liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well.
