History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Dariff was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Dariff's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Dain's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature ceremonial dagger.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he desires power and/or immortality

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Miner arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

His first spouse was a Hunter, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
