He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying north to reunite his family. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Moon was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.
