History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. When Avice reached her early adolescence her Half-Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Adrik lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Halfling companion (his 'brother'). When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 8. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and doesn't want to be a sage and was forced into it by his family

Description: He typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep black leather and dull blue iron scale mail. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. He has a red handlebar mustache and slicked back red hair. His gray eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: Pûg speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: Pûg was born with his mother's beautiful face. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Pûg alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away.
