History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the west. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Dwarven companion (his 'brother'). Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Rivaan fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
