History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Apothecary for the past few years.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Knight work with an outfit from a few towns over. Knight work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
