Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what she was had she not made sure her armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit she wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally she sports a white coat. She has wavy chestnut hair. She has hazel eyes and a white hat with a violet feather.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She uses her nature as a weapon; she likes to lead opponents to think her in distress.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. When Ekk reached her early adolescence her Half-Orc father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Description: He is a small man, but exceptionally fit. He is wearing colorful clothing, dressed as a Dyer. His silver hair is still thick. His fierce gray eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.

History: Gifted from a young age, Arannis studied abroad. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Arannis alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: She was born in a small mountains village. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Tabaxi conditions. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Half-Orc people; and someone believes her a fraud

Personality: She hates illithids. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. She has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Sculptor they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Sage, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and a deep hatred of illithids

Description: She is of a modest build and height, but she carries herself more imposing than she is. She wears light armors faded through time and improper care. Her fur is greying and her face has many wrinkles. Her eyes are copper and catlike.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Shepherd arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Shepherd and was forced into it by her family; and she has money and likes to spend it
