History: Shifting hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Knight hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. After a long history of fighting, Shifting and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Barbena grew up listening to her father's many stories. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Barbena has worked very hard to control her curse. In her journeys she found a malevolent artifact. She wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it; and she's looking for her big break

His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: He got into the Cook business at a young age. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and to be a adventurer again

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She will do just about anything if she becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this she is easily convinced.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Shoemaker. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
