The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Criella speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Criella was born with her mother's beautiful face. Her mother took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Description: This woman stands a little under 3'11" and is a bit bulky. She is very muscular particularly in the legs. She dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over her head. Her tied-back hair is blonde. Her hazel eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. She is a bit of a macho woman and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Mardred fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. After a long history of fighting, Rose and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Tiefling people; and to get a good night's sleep
