History: He comes from a rich eastern family. Through the years after Oriax was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Oriax's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now mingles about in high society.

History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the east. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and her religion dominates her actions

History: Donaar hails from a village terrorized by brigands. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting brigands, the young Donaar began to lead the lost caravan. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
