History: Makaria was born with her father's beautiful face. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Description: Runty and weak-looking, he dresses like a well dressed Servant does. His chestnut hair is thinning but still full. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His childhood dream was to be a Hunter, but he was a colossal failure. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 9 years.

Description: He is an attractive man, lean and moderately muscular. He prefers to wear blue pants and tee shirts. He sports a long golden beard, and similarly colored long hair. His brown eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Born in the north to a Healer, Zook learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To be a Painter again; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Description: She wears a shirt that is too small, which lets her gut show, with a ratty brown coat over it. She carries with her a set of ceremonial daggers, each one with a aquamarine on the hilt. She only wears one on her belt and the other on her back. Her red hair is braided into rings. Her eyes are a pleasant violet.

Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: The child of a Soapmaker, who enjoyed hunting, Rosamund was taken on many hunting expeditions. Through the years after Rosamund was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Rosamund's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Rosamund and her spouse have recently divorced.
