History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. History: He got into the Hunter business at a young age. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Hunter for hire.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and an old rival family wants him found

History: Carlin hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. A gifted student she started as a Soapmaker, but she got bored and became a Interpreter. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact.
