She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Scribe they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Unemployed, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Her amber eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Gardener who has hired her part-time. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: She is a Maurezhi in disguise. In her 18th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. During her travels, Ielenia and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Ielenia discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Ielenia fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.
