History: Sariel lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Sariel grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Sariel. Being a Scribe kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: He was born into a rich family. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats; and regain custody of his daughter

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She has all her life been fascinated with music.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered music. She has never given up on her music dream.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things.

Description: He is an attractive man, lean and moderately muscular. He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His tied-back hair is chestnut. His brown eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: This man loves dancing and to teach people dancing more than just about anything. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and to unite with his sister

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing music.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While she appears to be a normal Tiefling, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and to share knowledge with the world
