History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Fisher for the past few years.

Personality: He hates Halflings with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. Kelter enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Kelter hails from a village terrorized by brigands. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Tiefling activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Tiefling doctor. He's also a talented Sailor, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Expand his business; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His first spouse was a Cook, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with music. She constantly tries to fill her life with music. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: She got into the Roofer business at a young age. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Tiefling companion (her 'brother'). She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 5 years.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the north; and to be a masseuse again

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.
