History: Beiro was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Aristocrat, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Aristocrat in service of a powerful lord somewhere. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Architect. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Ella embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Painter they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Assassin, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. He wears a broad hat to hide his balding. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his silver eyes.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Merchant. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Merchant. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Merchant.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Servant work with an outfit from a few towns over. Servant work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. River fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

History: Burana lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: She wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother
