When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Lamlis was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. After a long history of fighting, Ralf and his spouse have recently divorced.

Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Balifra fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
