Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Orcs became a terror of the countryside. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ownka fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: She was born in the west. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She saw the violence of war and the aftermath so she converted to religion and dedicated herself to non-violence.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Shepherd work with an outfit from a few towns over. Shepherd work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Many brigands want him driven away; and someone believes him a fraud

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. Duergath enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Duergath was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and wishes to resurrect an old love
