History: Richard was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His first spouse was a Farmer, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and to be a farmer again

Description: He is a mite stocky and wears a red armored body suit, with a simple blue line shooting up and back down. He has no hair. His brown eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Tomi embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. After a long history of fighting, Tomi and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Miner and was forced into it by his family.

Description: The dark-skinned woman stands 3'5" and wears a tan vest with golden trim over her white shirt. Her violet leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and her tan boots flare out at the collars. Her tied-back hair is golden. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her childhood dream was to be a Courier, but she was a colossal failure. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Wants to raise her children well; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Description: A well shaped woman just over fifty, she wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. She has dyed her greying brown hair a little too much giving a sharp brown color. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She tends to her Baker job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: Expand her business; and to reunite with her absent mother

Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. Further she is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Ruloth was born in the north. At a young age she loved to build and create. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and to find somewhere to settle down
