History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. Through the years after Tricking was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Tricking's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Calm and collected, she is a well trained Carter. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Oriel liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She has worked as a Carter like her father before her.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
