History: She was raised by priests from a young age. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A gifted student he started as a Map Maker, but he got bored and became a Mayor. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Mayor for hire.

She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Born in the south her family was never financially stable. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and an old rival family wants her found
