History: The child of a Animal Trainer, who enjoyed hunting, Umpen was taken on many hunting expeditions. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Animal Trainer they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Farmer, and he later adopted a second son.

History: Born in the south to a Junk Dealer, Pyntle learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She became a Junk Dealer soon after.
