History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. When Kali reached her early adolescence her Tiefling father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After a long history of fighting, Ar-Beka and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Arannis grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Arannis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Arannis. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it
