History: Purah hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. Being a Crown-heir kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Born in the east to a Knight, Cask learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has since lost track of the people in her past.
