History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Golm was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Golm fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Cairn grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Cairn never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Armorer arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
