History: Born in the south her family was never financially stable. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Description: His right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He wears a robe, a symbol of strength around his neck, and a morningstar on his belt. He wears a wide-brimmed hat to cover his moderate length golden hair. His green eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. While she appears to be a normal Dwarf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Gnomish companion (her 'brother'). In the meantime she has taken over work as a Bricklayer and occasionally as a mercenary.

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She takes great pride in her work and is very well organized. Her planner is full of calendar events.

History: Carlin was born with her father's beautiful face. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
