History: Born in the south to a Layabout, Hugh learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He worked as a nervous Layabout and found it very stressful. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Layabout for hire.

Personality: She is filled with cunning. She likes to feign weakness letting people think she is weak. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Ahinar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
