History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Qualen was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Miner. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
