Description: A 3'10" southern woman, she is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright brown and violet, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. Her hair is always cut to a buzz. Her hazel unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: Urshar is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. The war was a terrible time for her, and Urshar does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Urshar has worked very hard to control her curse. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

History: She was raised in a island tribe. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Description: He wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. His silver hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Baern was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and further expansion of business

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He is an amazing painter.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Uthemar was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and to reunite with his absent mother

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he prefers to wear flannel. His silver hair is unkempt and raggedy. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. Korfel enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When Korfel reached his early adolescence his Elf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away
