Personality: He is fixated on the number 83. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he dresses in brown turtlenecks beneath a green coat with tan slacks. His golden hair is greasy and uncared for. His green eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Dwarf in existence. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Baker arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Description: A 5'10" southern man, he dresses well, wearing white shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. His hair is black and curly. His eyes are likewise hazel. His teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Guard who has hired him part-time. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Born to a Miner, his father struggled to pay the bills. A gifted student he started as a Miner, but he got bored and became a Guard. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Guard for hire.

Motivation: He wants to get laid.

Description: She wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment, but does not cut a very imposing figure. She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 6'4" when asserting herself. Her blue crest is slicked back into a classic pompadour. Her ears are large.

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her writing with anyone who is interested.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Bookbinder they were divorced and she won custody of their son. Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with painting. She constantly tries to fill her life with painting. Flattery will make her almost putty in your hands.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Volen was born on a far western plains where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Dilettante. She has never given up on her painting dream.
