History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Mercenary arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Jade grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Jade. Being a Mercenary kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Adran has worked very hard to control his curse. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. A freak accident while working with his Courier father left him crippled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. His silver hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Barrister father left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

Description: This woman is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of her veins is visible when she is not flexing. Her shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for her due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. Her blonde hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a feathered hat. Her eyes are amber and beady.

Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Phann fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.
