History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Balam alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. Her actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as she answers to a power that mortal women fail to acknowledge.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.

He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 3'4" when asserting himself. He has wavy red hair. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: Born in the east to a Engraver, Ulblyn learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He bought a shortbow and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She uses divination through singing.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She worked as a nervous Fortune-teller and found it very stressful. She's also a talented Animal Trainer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and expand her business

Personality: She believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions
