Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.

History: Ranala hails from a village terrorized by goblins. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered south to less war torn lands. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by goblins. Ranala was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the goblins.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He found a children's book about a Halfling Cleric who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Emmeline has worked very hard to control her curse. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and to clean up the streets

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Shivering was born in the west. At a young age she loved to build and create. Her mother worked until she suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. She had to support her now crippled mother and took her mother's old job. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: Wants to raise her children well; and to reunite with her absent mother

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Locksmith but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.
