Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Roondar was born with his father's beautiful face. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: She is a Performer first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. The war was a terrible time for her, and River does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. Her mother took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and she loathes her own lifestyle

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Barkeep. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. She is a great chef.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Barkeep. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Barkeep for hire.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is obsessed with his god.

History: Gifted from a young age, Jak studied abroad. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Jak fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.
