History: She comes from a rich western family. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Tiefling companion (her 'brother'). During her travels, Kasdeya and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Kasdeya discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Kasdeya fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He married young, but lost his spouse to gnolls. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and he feels kind of lost in life
