History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and his religion dominates his actions

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Gillyd was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: Wants her loneliness to end; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it
