Description: This man stands a little under 6'3" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears a black vest with golden trim over his white shirt. His white leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his black boots flare out at the collars. He has done his best to style his silver hair to look like a famous performer. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. Gorfel was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Gorfel decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: She comes from a rich western family. Her parents were killed by giants in a raid when she was still a young child. The giants captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She was granted arcane powers by her dying sister.

Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her mother.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Althaea was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
