History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Huru was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She was granted necromantic powers by her dying brother.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
