Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Volen grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Volen. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Balimaar's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was born in the north. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Caeldrim was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: This man wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized jet on his left hand. He sports a flattop hair cut. His half smiles and brown eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: The man has a huge range of feeling. He will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how he will be a better person from this day on. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: A deep hatred of brigands; and revenge

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He found a children's book about a Half-Orc Warrior who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sai.
