Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep yellow leather and dull tan iron scale mail. His hair, while still mostly chestnut, has prominent grey streaks. His eyes are likewise brown.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of drow once and for all.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Roland grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Roland. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Description: This malnourished man is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. His white hair is unkempt and raggedy. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. After coming to the age of reason, Bhevek took it upon himself to study the druidic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he has passion for adventuring and risk

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Tûmhom was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A freak accident while working with his Performer father left him crippled. He has achieved small success as a Cook.

Motivation: To be a Performer again.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with writing. She constantly tries to fill her life with writing. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and retire the richest woman in the north

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Robert lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.
