History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Jeweler they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Merchant, and she later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and her religion dominates her actions

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. Being a Barkeep kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, giants burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying east to reunite her family. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and a deep hatred of giants
