History: Berrian lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His mother, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In her 13th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Chassath alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: Theobald is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: Gifted from a young age, Theobald studied abroad. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
